CoreysWave Cancellation Policy



CoreysWave Destination Surf reservations must be made in advance and have limited availability. All lessons packages must be purchased in advance of surf vacation. Destination Surf reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to the reserved dates for a full refund. Destination Surf reservations must be cancelled 14 days prior to the reserved dates for a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled within 14 days will not be refunded unless the client presents evidence of a valid reason for cancellation of the Destination Surf reservation. Any such evidence will be reviewed by CoreysWave to determine whether a refund can be issued. If packaged lessons do not get used during surf vacation due to surf conditions (i.e., extra large surf or flat surf only) partial refund may be issued. If packaged lessons do not get used and surf conditions were acceptable during the surf vacation, no refund is issued.

CoreysWave reserves the right to cancel lessons in the event of surf and weather conditions which, in its judgment, might pose a danger to clients. CoreysWave will cancel lessons for any conditions that are unsuitable for surf lessons, including big/rough surf, strong winds, thunder and lightning, heavy rain, rip currents, flat surf. If CoreysWave has deemed surf and weather conditions appropriate for learning on a given day, the lesson remains as scheduled.

Daily appointment reservations must be made prior to reservation appointment time, however last minute reservations will be accommodated if possible. Lessons begin at the scheduled time. Students who arrive to their lesson late will use the remaining time for their allotted appointment. Emergency situations are respected.

Basic surf gear (Softop, rashguard) is included; preferred surfboard gear is available for rent at an additional cost via CoreysWave discounted rental rates (subject to availability). CoreysWave recommends that students travel with their chosen rashguard/wetsuit/surf attire, and personal surfboard gear (i.e., surfboard, fin, fin hardware, screwdriver/fin key leash, wax, ding repair kit, board bag).
